Relay removal

Hello fellas, I am trying to pull the relays that are located under the steering column. I have removed the door and purchased relay pliers.

The big problem seems to be nylon fence that is holding the relays in position. Is there a proper way to remove the fence? Thanks!

The relays just above the body control module? IIRC they just pull out by hand.

Thanks again. If you remove the door above your left knee you will see more relays. They are not easy to access.
