Hello all,
I'm thinking to upgrade to CP3 pump. Should've done it when doing the timing belt, but didn't do my research well
So, I wanted to ask, if I'm going for the trouble of the upgrade to CP3, what else should be done at the same time?
And another question. My 2015 tdi sportswagen runs on Malone tune with all dpf/egr components intact. Will I need to do any re-tuning after the fuel pump upgrade?
Any other advices of something I missed to mention?

Curious as to why your "upgrading" to CP3?
reliability is a big one..

imo, dont do the CP3 until you are due for a timing belt again. just stay on top of your fuel filter maintenance

I'm pretty sure the 2015s use a 2 piston CP4.2, apparently lower failure rates. I'm unsure if the CP3 conversion will even fit a 2015

as seen here;

it is the 1 piston design.

2 piston is bespoke to "high output" TDI's like the CUAA

regardless, a CP3 does fit as seen here;

even the 2 piston cp4's are vunerable to the same issues as the 1 piston.. the design is fundamentally the same, thus flawed
