Nothing beats factory paint. Mitek looks nice, too bad I have already booked with Carstar. I have requested not to respray front bumper, it has very little scratch, but I want to keep factory paint. They will be replacing front fender. Hope they can color match my reflex silver.Seen a few plastic bumpers that peeled out of Mitek.
When our insurance company listed then, I kinda went, no. A VW at a Toyota, but it turns out there wasn't a VW dealer with a body shop.Actually forgot about Hefner. We had a company car repaired there. They did a great job, and even detailed it inside.
My Insurance (formerly SF) will guarantee the work as long as I own the car because Koebel's is an approved bodyshop.... Mitek was not, and their quote was 4x the price and the work they wanted to do didn't match the damage I had....Insurance companies recommend the place that give them the best deals. Not always the best work.
My insurance also guarantees the work as long as I keep the car but fine print says they are not covering rust, so if body panel will rust in a year they wouldn't fix it. Or if paint will be peeling in a year they wouldn't fix it cause its Wear and Tear.My Insurance (formerly SF) will guarantee the work as long as I own the car because Koebel's is an approved bodyshop
hmmm didn't read the fine print....My insurance also guarantees the work as long as I keep the car but fine print says they are not covering rust, so if body panel will rust in a year they wouldn't fix it. Or if paint will be peeling in a year they wouldn't fix it cause its Wear and Tear.
I was told the same thing when I took the Treg to the Toyota dealer. If it's one of there it's lifetime, if not. Well.My insurance also guarantees the work as long as I keep the car but fine print says they are not covering rust, so if body panel will rust in a year they wouldn't fix it. Or if paint will be peeling in a year they wouldn't fix it cause its Wear and Tear.
