Hello, two years ago I switched on a 2006 US model VW Jetta TDI the rear tail lights to Euro style amber lights using Tim Birney's wiring and coding from vwvortex forum (http://dataton.net/vw/misc/gli_led_amber.pdf), but I never bothered to upgrade the inner rear trunk lights which have the fog light on the left and reverse white light on the right.
Does anybody know or have instructions how to do the upgrade?
I did the re-wiring and coding according to the instructions from above for the amber LEDs and they work perfectly, but what wiring modification, new head light switch hook up etc. do I need for the inner trunk lights?
So far I do know that I need a new head light switch in order to trigger the fog light, but what is the wiring for that? Tim Birney's Instructions just show the re-wiring for the outer amber tails, but no mention of wiring for inner LED trunk lights.
