Rattles!

Finally picked up my 2011 TDI Sedan, and after some extended highway driving, I'm noticing rattles everywhere. Back driver side door, back seat trunk area, oh **** handle on drivers side... anyone have ideas as to how to easily fix it? Nothing is under warranty, as I have 36k miles on it. Just some quirky stuff I couldn't notice on the test drive.

Seriously, if you search some of the other rattle threads, you can find some nifty home-spun fixes in them.

Yeah, lots of threads on this. $16k car with a $9k engine.

They do have a decent radio at least, so crank it up!

Haha, yes I know. One of the rattles gets louder though when the radio is up. I think it is the speaker grille.

Check the front door pockets... every time I get a rattle that sounds like a blew a speaker or something it ends up that someone put something in my passenger door pocket that's hard and is rattling against the plastic pocket.

I think I have one coming out of my drivers side vent... very low rumble/vibration... somewhat fixed by running the fan on the upper vents... its constant when you're on the go pedal....

An empty water bottle sent me off for 3 days until I figured it out.

I've narrowed them down to the trunk deck (need to shove some foam in it), the back speaker one worked its way out.. the one thats driving me bonkers is one in the headliner right above my left ear when i'm driving.

yep, i have both of those. one of these days im going to dismantle that rear deck lid and foam the **** out of it.

I came from a Kia Soul. So I seem to be lucky in the rattle department since this car seems so much quieter than my previous. I had to turn down the bass on that car completely to not get rattles. I do seem to randomly get some rattle from the drivers side door. But it's intermittent.
