Rattle coming from rear driver side - 2009 TDI Touareg

Just bought a 2009 VW Touareg TDI and I love it. I am hearing and feeling a rattle coming from the rear driver side. I was looking for something loose and even thought it maybe the spare tire. Is this a known problem?
