What is the rarity/desirability of a Jetta Sportwagen 6 speed manual NO Sunroof, No Nav car? Im looking at a 2014 TDi..

Not rare. Desirability is subjective, some people might be looking for a car just like that, others may want different options.

Very desirable (to me). Not rare (to me - have one in the garage :D)

The manuals are not rare unicorns. They made a lot of manual TDI wagons relatively speaking. But they still seem to be 10-15% of buyback TDI's for sale. And if you look on the car selling websites they definitely seem to be listed for more money than the DSG's overall.

Have you bought one yet??

im working on one right now. The manual I know is not rare, its the combo of NOT having a sunroof as well as NOT having navigation along with the manual is what I was asking about.

Guess it depends on what part of the country you are in eh?

If I recall they had pretty goofy packages on the JSWs. There were 3 choices. You got "Base", "Sunroof + 17" wheels" and "Sunroof + wheels + Nav". So you're asking about base model cars which is exactly what I was shopping for because I didn't want the big hole in the roof. Golfs definitely had more options with "Technology packages" and such.

Anecdotally I felt like around here in the Northeast it seemed like about half of the JSW manuals were with roof and half were without. I didn't pay any attention to whether or not Nav was included. Hope that helps!

The first car here had rodent damage which scared me away!!! CPO or not it doesn't cover rodents There was damage on a few different harnesses, the paint on the rear deck lid had significant wear from a hanging bike rack, and the car was full of dog hair under the seats.

The dealers want you to think they are rare and in demand. Some of the dealers around here are not budging on there prices even 85+ days on the lots. Depends on the area of the country u r in.
