Hello, I have a 2014 JSW with 64k miles. Heres my situation was doing a 1000 mile road trip. After about 250 miles pulled over for a break and after starting it I was going up a hill and had no power was only able to reach about 40MPH. Drove to nearest auto store to buy dpf cleaner(didnt help). So I had to drive the rest of the 700 miles with it being underpowered. Flat ground was able to get to 80MPH (took forever). uphill was averaging 40-45MPH. My MPG went from 43-46 to 38-40 (hwy). The codes I have is P2463 P20D8 and P0101(No DPF light, only CEL and flashing Glowplug). I had the P0101 code before the roadtrip tried swapping the MAF sensor with 2 other ones and code didn't disappear (There is a small vacuum leak after sensor). Car ran and drove fine with P0101 code on( CEL on and Glowplug light flashing).

Not sure if a forced regen will help or something else needs to be done/replaced.
I have a scaner that only reads/clears codes.

(car was sitting at auction since march. was only able to drive about 100 miles before roadtrip.)

Any help is appreciated, thank you

Only thing I really saw was recommendation on doing dpf regen. Any recommendations on scanners? I don't own a windows laptop btw.

VCDS is the gold standard.
With a generic reader, codes are hit and miss. Not always as precise.
A $50 Thinkpad from ebay running Windows7 is worth the investment!
As for your codes,
P2463 says clearly "Perform Emergency Regeneration" as a possible solution so...
Also, there is a TSB that includes that P20D8 code that might shed some light:
There is a small vacuum leak after sensor
I'd try fixing that, then clearing codes. I'd also look into sending the DPF to the "Recycle Bin" if you know what I mean.

Thank you.
I will definitely consider getting VCDS.
After doing some searching and looking at the TSB for p2463 I might have a bad position sensor for boost controller or bad actuator.
and for the p0101 got to fix vacuum leak and check grounds. For the P20D8 it says: Exhaust Monitoring, Following Injection Regulation Limit Exceeded. Couldn't really find anything that explained what it meant. Anyone know what it means?
