Radio stuck. Kind of.

Mine seems stuck like this permanently...Not good for a week old car xm radio stations it's stuck on one and has the initializing just like yours. I can turn the volume down but not up it's weird guess it will take a trip to the dealer. I have started and stopped the car multiple times today....And it was working fine on the drive down today.

Is the car in a garage or otherwise covered? Satellite radio can be blocked by buildings and such, that might have been why it worked when driven.

No. I thought it had to do something with the phone sync contacts at the same time.

Nope was the not the case with mine. Was on the way home from Philadelphia sitting in a gas station parking lot and it had quit. The weird thing was I couldn't even access my radio ID when the problem occurred the screen popped up and said I was subscribed but there was no radio ID there. Magically an hour and a half later on the way home it was all back to normal again. Hasn't happened since but I've only had the vehicle 3 weeks now.

Two issues with my new car so far. Radio sometimes doesn't stay on the pre-set that I have. So turn the car on and it has jumped back down to the bottom of the dial (87.7) which is just static.

Other issue I have was using nav and all of a sudden it jumped to the middle of the US and NAV was gone. Just arrow sitting in the middle of the map

I have had this as well. And turning the unit off and on failed to solve that problem.

Yeah I will search for POI on the map and it takes me to Los Angeles, CA...has happened twice and I have to hit the center map button again to get back to where I actually am. Its definitely got its quirks.

I had the same "initializing" problem over the weekend. It was really cloudy. When I drove later and the clouds had passed, Sat radio worked fine.

Same issue here, plus the nav occasionally stalls out trying to calculate the route.

I have the same issue today on sat only. Volume can turn down cant turn back up. Also locked on initializing. I will let car sit and then check again.
