Question on turbo oil return passage inside ALH block

Hi Folks,
Would anybody happen to know how the oil is channeled in an ALH block once it leaves the turbo oil return line? Is it just a dedicated channel or passage that pours directly into the oil pan?

It literally pours in from the block to the bottom of cylinder #2 I can post a picture if you need it.

Well that would be cool if it's no trouble. I have an issue with this port in the block on my Beetle, and when I remove the old banjo bolt and return line, I'll have to clean things up and I may get some dirt/debris and cleaner in this hole. If it's just going straight into the oil pan, I don't really care. I can remove the pan and clean it out. I just didn't want to be forcing the dirt/debris into a place in the block where it would cause a problem. The oil pan I can deal with.

A picture would be great though. Thanks for the reply.

I had circled it but for some reason its not uploading with my edit. But you can see it in cylinder #2
Perfect, thank you. That is exactly what I wanted to know (and see). I can even see the end of the return line union fitting on the inside of the block. It's just a threaded hole, straight through. Piece of cake.

Thanks. Rem.
