Question about how the stereo works

I just discovered that I can copy music on to a thumb drive and plug it into the car's USB in the console. My question: How can I remove individual songs? I removed a couple of songs off of the thumb drive, but they still appear to be on the stereo.

can you try deleting the whole file and then reloading it with the newer file (with the deleted songs)
