DPF was changed per service bulletin after the emissions fix at 99K miles. The vehicle now at 130K mi., CEL coming on for the last 2K miles throwing a P226D code (DPF Particulate filter damaged or substrate missing ). Has anyone experienced this issue where it is something else causing the CEL other than a failed DPF with only 31K mi on it? Resetting, the code pops every 30 miles or so. Audi claims out of warranty as the original emissions fix was done around 70k.
Thoughts?

Any soot on the tailpipe? That's a sign of a cracked DPF. Warranty should have been until 128K which sounds about when it started? ( 4 years 48k miles from the date of "fix")

Have you called Audi Care to get them involved. 31k and it should be covered with at least a 36k warranty on the replaced DPF. If you get nowhere with them get a tune and remove that crap. It's not worth the cost if you are stuck with the bill at the dealership.
