Can anyone tell me of an "After-Market" product that is compatible with the VW power steering fluid. I refuse to pay $28 a quart at a stealership.
Thank you

Herm, short answer: NO.

The last time I acquired Pentosin 11S I paid $11 for a 1 litre. You don't have to source it at the dealer.

I've seen it on the shelf at a Carquest auto parts store. It can also be had mail order from many VW parts suppliers (Germanautoparts, etc.).

What exactly is the fluid change interval for power steering fluid on an A3 TDI. My book isn't real clear on this.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, that's probably reality. I changed our fluid around 100k miles. Things really quieted down after that.

1 litre is plenty for a quik flush.
