I haven't replied back because we had some trouble with the crank seal leaking. My buddy put it in, we were both working on the car, and for some reason it was leaking. We took the tranny back out last night and the seal looked fine. We could not find anything wrong with it, no nicks nothing. We put a new seal in it today, got the tranny back in and it is finished, no leaks this time. We took the tranny out in an hour and put everything back together in about an hour and a half, including torquing everything down, not too bad.
The car drives great, what a difference from the auto.
While I had the car home this week I did the manifold cleaning, and wow did that make a huge difference too.
Thanks again to all who gave me advise, posted instructions, and took the time to educate all of us with the swap, without your help it would not have been much fun.
I recommend anyone with a failing auto to do it, it is not as hard as it sounds.
