I am putting a 1Z engine in a Vanagon. I have a sensor that has a hose fitting on it that looks like it is a pressure sensor of some sort. It goes to pins 40, 33, and 41 of the ECU, I bvelieve. The numbers stamped on the side are:
0 261 230 008 and by the Audi logo is
3A0 906 051

Can someone tell me what I should hook the hose fitting up to?

Thanks,

The manifold pressure sensor in the 1Z is entirely inside the ECU, so it's not that. Impex lists the part as "pressure sensor" but gives no other details. A quick check of the "TDI industrial engine" document doesn't turn up a clue. Sorry this wasn't much help... /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thanks for checking, Jack. From a guy on the BentleyPublishing.com forum, it looks like it is the atmospheric pressure sensor.
