I'm posting this because i could not find a similar comparison when i was shopping for nozzles.

I think Bosio claims +25 hp and +50ftlbs for PP764's.

The top run on each dyno sheet is the one to compare, and in doing so, it shows a 15 hp and 50 ftlbs gain. This is the same dyno machine at the same shop so i think it's a legitimate relative comparison.

Excellent. Although they only gave you 15 peak additional hp (I think you need to retune the ECU to take full advantage of them), they have given you a lot of new area under the power curve, especially where you need/use it most, right at 2,500 rpm's!

Your car will be much faster in everyday driving situations.

Edit: I calculated the integral area under the curves. The PP764's yield 8.8% more area under the curve from 2000-4200 rpm's (interpolated PP764 curve out to 4200 as smooth, steady projection of existing curve line.)

You're definatley right about the tune....i get a little dip around 3500 rpm's now due to boost spike i think.

8.8% power curve area increase equates to roughly 100% devious grin increase:D.

When I replaced the Bosch 0.216 nozzles with the PP502's, it was a night and day difference! Holy crap batman!

This is also only with the standard/same turbo , you would probably get even more hp if you were to use a larger unit...possibly between 30hp/40hp.

Where the nozzles "broke in" before the dyno? To my understanding you get more power after about 1000miles, is that correct?

At the time of dyno the nozzles had ~500 miles on them. I'm at 600 now and I haven't noticed any more power "appearing"; however, you ususally get used to your upgrades so they start feeling weaker, and i haven't felt this. So it's probably two competing effects that are cancelling.

O alrighty I see. I am about to get new nozzles and I have been debating over the PP520's and the PP764's, I have read all of the threads on them and still don't know:confused: . ahh lol would you recomend the PP764's? Also, how much smoke do they produce because I have been wanting to smoke someone forever but I don't have the right stuff yet.:p

I was in your shoes not long ago. The deciding factor for me was that the car runs smooth, efficient, and strong with everything stock + 764's; and if i ever wanted to bump up the power, i've got the fuelling covered. You won't regret either choice, but for $5 more, why not go big?

Yeah, i can drop a healthy soot bomb at will, but hopfully that will be remedied after a tune.

FYI: if Kerma is sold out of PP764's, the PP502 is identical in design but flows 3% more

:D

on the site it says the pp764s add more hp than the pp502s, and the pp764s are more expensive. why would the 502s flow 3% more than 764s? the 764s have to have larger holes and/or flow more. right?
I believe your getting confused with the PP"520" on his website and the PP"502" being talked about on here. 520's are smaller the 764's. From my understandings, 502s are nearly identical to 764's, but flow slightly more :)
