Does anyone know how to remove the wires from the power window harness plug behind the kick panel?

Pull the pinkish colored plastic retainer into the unlock position, then you'll need some depinning tools (there are sets you can buy, most VAG ones have a double sided type tool to use) and release whichever wire you need to do individually and pull it out.

These can be finicky to do.
