Post Recall Work

Just a quick question. Took my Jetta in for the recall work today ( as well the connection for my mirrors/defrost wasn't working which they fixed free of charge). On the way home I topped up the tank and it said that when full I had 660 K until tank empty ( it usually reads 920 ). I did note that the mileage increased as I drove so I am hoping it is just resetting itself from the electrical work today. Not sure if that made sense....

Yeah, I think that's right. Whenever I fill up my tank the miles remaining goes to 410 miles and then as I drive it increases. (410 miles = 660 Km)

I believe this is due to the MFD calculating based on current fuel economy readings. Maybe try to zero-out trip and tank settings after a refill.

Thanks, I did the trip and average L/K reset but wasn't sure how to reset the tank settings

Whenever I fill up my overall trip meter, overall average fuel economy and miles left in the tank reset on their own.
