Pretty sure my turbo is toast at 249k miles. Dropped off to zero boost on the way home today. Engine runs fine still. Talk to me about the Karma drop in. I need to keep my CA emissions stuff, so Kerma is my only option other than stock. I just replaced the DPF, EGR Filter and Timing belt at 225K.

Also, is anyone getting these cars up past 500k miles? I know the non DPF cars are rockstars, but I haven't heard much on these cars past the mid 200ks

Of course the DPFs go out on these daily now but YES they go pretty easily past 200k. Other than the DPF or HPFP, they hold up well. The injectors are different than older models and may eventually need service but even that is pretty easy.
Kerma is good or honestly just a Bosch replacement is fine

Considering I got almost 250k on my first turbo the temptation is real to buy another factory turbo, but I've also always had a hotrodders bug. I was planning to get a Kerma tune anyway, so it's essentially only $800 more to go to the stage 3 turbo for me. Unless there is a compelling reason not to. I'm also dragging around 55 series A/T tires, so the extra umph would be nice.
