So is this the most pertinant thread for me to post my bus drama in? I got everything hooked up in the bus to the point that I should be able to take it for a test drive.... Pushed it out into the driveway and tightened up the bolts for the axles. All is set.

I test all the pedal to make sure everything seems good and the clutch pedal goes to the floor. So I get out and check the clutch cable tension, its really loose, I tighten it, all seems good. Push the pedal again, right to the floor. Come to find out the PO( a total idiot) somehow messed up the part that connects the pedal to the clutch cable. Get it all fixed, great, good to go.

Hop in the front seat again, clutch feels great. Proper resistance, smoothe pull. I start her up, still go. Go to push down the clutch and "grgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgrgr". I have throwout bearings issues.

So close... so so close.

But drive up Rt 125 toward Epping and watch the car yards on the left. That little teeny bus just jumps out at you: "Please take me home!"

It was really cute - so cute I had to stop and check it out. That's when I found out it was a Sube...

In the back? Just mount it in the middle for better weight balance

That one is just a representative (an image I found online)...the one I saw on Rt 125 is white and we didn't have our camera...

It's definitely for sale, just like everything else on that lot...next time you're up this way - I'll point it out...if it doesn't leave...

I haven't been able to find much info about this elusive Subaru bus. Lots of info on putting a Subaru motor into a VW bus, but no evidence that this thing actually existed.
