Same here Mr. Geek, got the email and did the Chase dance. Next, money shows up.. then many drinks will be had on the VW-I'm-sorry-here's-a-$100-prepaid-card!

Wow ! Cayman ! Messed up what happened to you. Glad to hear things got resolved. Makes me want to change my EFT funds transfer option to getting a physical check handed at time of buyback turn-in. May discuss with VW rep on day of buyback, thanks for sharing story !

Check is cut before buyback and mailed to rep at dealer, can't make change day of buyback. I have called the claims number several times trying to get my EFT changed to check, so far have not been able to find anybody who can do it. Looks like I am stuck with EFT.

Once the screw up in getting the email receipt was resolved, the EFT payment process was quick & easy. Got an email from Chase on Friday late afternoon, followed the link and provided the required info, money was in my bank account Tuesday morning. I wouldn't bother with a check personally
