Hi all,

I am having a little bit of an issue. I have just recently had my '03 Golf converted to the 130 european PDi motor :D:D. i recieved the cluster and ECU with the motor. Unfortunately, my key will not allow the motor to stay on. Does anyone know of anywhere that can clear the Immobilizer on the european ECU.

Many Thanks in advanced!!

I had to do this in my conversion as well since I used a MK3 cluster (did it myself).

You have to edit the ecu firmware to delete the immobilizer. Send me a PM if you want more details.

If you have the whole lot installed - and you have the SKC code (4 digit I think) you can code keys yourself. This is what I did with my pd100 to pd130 conversion - took me about 2 minutes with vagcom. :)

You can probably just mail your stuff to jsrmonster and he can mail it back to you. You'll need some special tools to delete immo if you do it yourself. Plus, he's got a My Name is Earl avatar... that would be the decision clincher for me.

Very true, this is quite the toss up. Nihilator is in Maryland and could probably this as well, but I am unsure of his avatar.

I knew I chose that avatar for some reason. The alternative was a picture of a rooster with the words "chicks dig my..." above it...I may still give that one a try. :D
