Hi guys! Can ayone tell me the difference between 038 130 073 AG & 038 130 073 AK

My stock injector was 038 130 073 AG, I'found a cheap deal for a 4 set of AK coded set and put on to my TDI but, Car started to black smoke at low rpm's and heavy smoke at full thorttole.....

The dealer said there was no difference between thoose injectors other then the last two digits.

I have stage 1 tuning map, I've loaded the stock map and doesen't changed anything about the smode.. MPG is sufering.
The computer shows 0.3LT/H and mgp/s is around 3.5 with tunng map and AK injectors.

If these injectors were for PD130, can i change the nozzleswith stock ones to make them run proper?

Thank you for your answer..

2005 BJB

521 and 465 is nozzle size, then the other parameters?
Which one is more economical in the MPG?

073AG is a P1.1/80/520 PDE
073AK is a P1.3/80/465 PDE

Where can i get these information on the web do you know?

520 is the size of the PDE
465 is correspondingly smaller and would require larger production periods to promote de same amount.
So your car would run too lean.
Your sure the AK PDE´s are good?

What engine Code your car have?
038130073AG 0414720265 is PDE1.1/80/425, so smaller than 038130073AK 0414720038 PDE1.3/80/465, so there are 2 problems.
One is that bodies (coils) of the injectors are different, so different BIP maps which leads to rough running in some conditions, and second, the AK injectors have bigger nozzles (hence the smoke).

I'm confused about you explaination... Could you make it clear?

You had 038906073AG on your engine. These are 425cmc .
You installed 03813073AK which are 465cmc, so like 10% bigger than yours.
Apart from the difference between nozzles, there is a different between the injector bodies which need to be modified in the software, BIP maps, exactly.

@tdi_my live are you sure about 520??

If AK is bigger than AG, so why cars power suffering in high gears?

I know I ask a lot of questions, İ dont know what BIP means.

Aha ok BIP = Beginning of injection period

I got wrong information. The AG are only 425 and not 520.
The AK are bigger, so the SOI and duration should be rewritten properly in the file.
Therefore, the now drives a filthy Lambda.

What Ecu do you have, EDC15 or 16? If it's EDC16, it's a little harder to copy BIP maps from EDC15 (because I don't know any car that uses PDE1.3 on EDC16.
