This is a very common issue. Make sure you keep your heated mirror switch off when not needed. Seems to perpetuate the issue.

on that subject warm the plastic clips up when installing it,,, Goes easier, and for certain everyones wire connections for the heated glass will be corroded,, I did a few and all were corroded.
