Passat strut replacement - need part #\'s

Anyone happen to know the part numbers for the front and rear strut bearings, boots (AKA protective sleeve) and the foam gasket Bentley says to replace at the rear? I've spent 30 minutes on the phone with the local dealer and the parts guy still can't figure out what I need.

Looks like what was supposed to be friday's job has been put off a week

I would check Impex or Importec. I replaced mine @ 6 mos ago and bought the struts, mounts, rubber covers w/o any problem.

If I remember I'll bring the billing info tomorrow with pasrt #'s.

You should get some kind of kickback from vwparts.com with all the Passat traffic you send there. I ordered the same info that you gave me, and had it within three days of ordering it.
