Passat NMS Timing Belt Tensioner Over Torqued?

Hey, I'm doing a timing belt on my CKRA TDI. When I put the timing belt on and was tightening the tensioner I felt like I may have over tightened it. It clicked after I went past the 180 degrees of rotation. I took the tensioner off and the spring and metal seemed fine, nothing looked out of place. I can't find anything of anyone else doing the same thing. I put it back on and it tensioned correctly and didn't appear broken. Is over torquing the tensioner possible? Should I be worried about it if it's holding tension on the belt?

Thank you in advanced.

Wait, did you over torque the nut, or you went well past the window on the indicator?

If you're talking about the nut, then no issues if you over torqued, just use a new nut to be safe. I believe those are single use anyway.
