Around two months ago i did a remap on my Passat B6. Two weeks later after that my car suddenly stopped and it turned out the High Pressure Pump was full of metal parts so I had to replace the pump, 4x injectors and the fuel filter.
The car run fine for a week then suddenly in high RPM(around 4000) it goes into limp mode with glow plug light flashing. The code was P0088. I went to the service and they replaced the fuel pressure regulator. Again the car was running fine for around a week i noticed power loss and then again at high RPM the car loses power this time without glow plug lights flashing, the RPMs drops to 2000 then it again works fine.
I also changed O2 sensor few days ago.
Could this problem be because of the remap or what couls be the issue?
