Passager side blows cold

I have 2013 passat tdi 122k just started notice passager side blows cooler then driver side. Heat is a must I live in MN, I was reading heater core major issue any way test that? By chance could it be blend door controller thing?

Sounds like the heater core. You could test it by pulling it out to see it is clogged, but why bother, you might as well replace it. Actually, have the dealer replace it since there is an extended warranty for the heater core failures on these vehicles.

How long is warranty good for? I have 122k on it

I called I am at 122k want over 1k change my heater core, just wondering what is best heater core out there link part# or something local part store will have?

I guess I need to learn how to do this (haven't look), in case it ever happens to me. Oilhammer says the job is not bad, and the part is super cheap. I was dreading this whole heater core issue, but not anymore...almost tempted to buy one and have it on hand, just in case :unsure:

So I went ahead tackle this job issue I am having I can't get top line and core seal I say 1/4 circle line on top won't go flush leaks I did tap lip with wood trick still top part won't go flush what am I foing wrong?
