Pass side floor vent blow cooler

pass side vent foot vent will get low as 98 f as driver side 120f or more anyone know why this only seem be foot all other vents are with in 2 3C of each other when I am driving. Get to about 41C no mateer what almway seems pass side foot is 8 10 C lower then driver side when I read it with vcds

Before you go any further check this simple thing first.
Remove cover in upper footwell to access the cabin filter. Check to make sure the filter retainer is secure. I've found them loose and partially open with resulting cold air going into the cabin. This can happen if all (6?) tabs are not engaged when the retainer is slid closed during filter service.
