So I trashed my 03 Jetta sedan ALH engine it was mostly front end damage, and I just bought a 04 Jetta Wagon, what parts should I save from my 03 that can be used on the 04 Wagon. any help would be great.

well most of the engine stuff is not that good to you, but id keep the drivers door, those components are just a matter of time, High pressure steering hose, wiper transmission and motor, alternator, starter, rad hoses may be of some use, rear calipers, brakes? how much do you want to store ;)

I think i read you are putting the 5 speed in the wagon, so most of that is assumed. the 04 wagon auto is not as HORRIBLE as the 99-03, if you wanted to see if it would last.

I just went thru this but went a bit further. I'd keep the complete rear doors, hatch, rear bumper, support and all mounting bits, hatch interior bits.

I also kept the headliner, roof airbags and tons of other stuff but I sorta have the space. :(

he went from a sedan to a wagon. the rear doors and trunk lid wouldnt be of much use, or head liner

Keep the air vents. The 04+ models don't have illuminated vents like the 99.5-03 models did. Pretty easy to wire up.

Keep everything. Park the car somewhere you don't have to worry about the grass growing under it. Or put it on cinder blocks so the mower will fit under it. Everything will stay in one neat package until you need it.

My parts 03 wagon has been a treasure trove of parts for all my cars but the 04 has gotten the new headlights, good interior stuff and of course, all those necessary relays, valves switches etc.
And the shell makes a great storehouse.

Ahhhh, missed that part. Ok, disregard that then, :p

Then just keep the car from the B pillar forward.
