Where is the sending unit located?

You can access the fuel sending unit from the trunk.Remove the liner and underneath there is a cover with 3 phillips screws. From there the unit can be pulled out. Look for the vw oem # in my post and look up details on vw website.

I got the cover off and found a mouse nest and the lines looked rusted.

dummy lights
rear Passat and TDI badges
and more.
