• The TDIClub classifieds section is a heavily trafficked section of the forum that encompasses want-to-buy (WTB) and for-sale (FS) threads for the entire world. Due to the demanding nature and fast pace of this section, it is imperative that you know and understand the rules. It is also important to remember that this is the only parts classifieds section.

Cross-posting and posting classifieds in the regional sections (except the dedicated thread in Ontario) is not permitted.

Multiple items should be sold in one thread. Make sure to provide a description for all items in your post along with pictures and prices. If you start multiple threads with individual items, they will be locked or combined at the discretion of the moderators.

Here is a quick outline of the classifieds section rules. If you don't follow these rules, you subject yourself to thread deletion, thread combination, infractions, or posting privilege revocation.

    Thread titles:
    • Put FS or WTB in your thread title. This will let other users know if you are selling or buying.
    • Briefly describe what you are selling. Thread titles have limited space. Be as descriptive, yet succinct, as possible.
    • Put your location in the title.
    • If space allows, put your price in the title

Title example (single item): "FS: 2004 Mk4/BEW cylinder head - Portland, OR - $500"
Title example (multiple items): "FS: MK6 fog lights, front bumper, headlights, grill - Detroit, MI"
Title example (car part-out): "FS: Mk3 Jetta parting out engine & interior - Dallas, TX"

    Thread text descriptions and pictures:
    • All for-sale threads must include pictures of the items that you are selling. One picture is sufficient, but multiple pictures with different angles will help buyers. A picture is worth a thousand words. If you don't know how to post pictures on TDIClub, see this thread: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=286691
    • All for-sale threads must include a description. We don't charge per-word, so be as descriptive as possible. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for buyers.
    • All for-sale threads must include a price. Auctions and bidding are not allowed. If you want to auction something off, use eBay.
No picture, no price, NO SALE!

    Thread maintenance/updates/bumps:
    • When you sell something, update your thread with "SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title.
    • If you have multiple items for sale, update your thread as each item has been sold. When everything has been sold, updated the thread with "ALL ITEMS SOLD!" Moderators will close the thread and update the title when all items have been sold.
    • If you bump your thread, please delete old bumps by clicking on EDIT and then deleting the old bump. This will reduce clutter in your thread and make it easier to read. It also makes you look less desperate.
    • If you drop your price, please update your first post in addition to posting the new price. If you would like the thread title changed, click on the report post icon and let a moderator know what you would like the title changed to.

    Moderator intervention and infraction points:
Moderators will be monitoring the classifieds section. If a moderator determines that you have not been following the rules listed above, corrections will be made and infraction points will be assessed to your account.

What is an infraction point? Simple - it's a system of keeping track of user behavior. A moderator can assign a point value based on the severity of the infraction, as well as an expiration date on the points assessed. If you accumulate a certain number of points, the system will auto-ban you for a predefined amount of time. The more points you accumulate, the longer your ban period will be.

One example of points is as follows: multiple threads will be combined into a single thread, with the number of infraction points assessed corresponding to the number of threads merged. If we merge four threads into one, then you will be assessed four points that expire in 30 days. When you reach five points, the system will auto-ban you for one day.*

*This is an example based on the current infraction system structure. We reserve the right to modify the infraction system at any time without notice or updates to this announcement.

Thank you for your cooperation, and good luck with your sales and searches! :)

Parting 99 NB TDI white/black/grey spun bearings Pittsburgh, PA area

Bought it this way.

Keeping 5 speed swap stuff and glovebox.

Complete car.

May get to parting ALH later. Not locked up, just main bearings spun.

Newer condenser, AC compressor.

Good front end all but bumper cover damage by RF wheel well.

Sunroof, PW, no holes in black heated leather, side mirrors good I think (knob broken off to adjust them), factory radio works, all good airbags, you get the idea.

I'll get pics up as soon as I remember how.

A few pics from towing it home on Pittsburgh CL
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/3677466388.html

Prefer to sell to members and local folks (no shipping - especially large items).

Hood minor dent, drivers door dent. I have a silver door I was going to install with a manual window.

I have more pics now that it's inside and front bumper/fenders/headlights off.

If there is something you'd like to see PM me.

Looking for fair prices on stuff. I have no reason to keep NB parts other than glove box. And 5 speed swap stuff incase one of my auto's needs it. Heck if you wanted to remove the 5 speed swap stuff on my lift where the car sits now we may even be able to work that out.

Whats left of value will be Ebay or crushed.

Attempt at posting pics. Now that it's inside it's hard enough to get far enough away to get whole front/side shots.

PM for any specific pics - I may have them already or I can take them.

Here is my try at posting pics:

A few others in my album.

I'll attempt to keep this post updated with what is sold or bad.

glove box
cup holders
fog lights
interior switches (broken or sold except for sunroof stuff)
front bumper grille
LF fender inner liner
drivers white door dented, have a silver drivers door though.

Have a member that says he wants a bunch of stuff this week.

Top plastic clamshell on interior steering column- held in by 2 screws?
Have it but not off yet. I've undone the 2 small philips screws and have the bottom off for now.

I'll go see if just lowering the column or needing to remove the upper dash is required and drop you a PM.

Hopefully today.

These were popular items on MKIII's also. Amazing how many folks break these.

Some items ready to ship to members - mostly interior trim.

I'll be parting a lot more tomorrow.

Including intercooler and all that plumbing, perhaps very nice black leather seats, exterior mirrors, a very good grey headliner, tail lights, etc.

White front fenders off, headlights, everything from drivers door (switches bad or gone) panel better than most grey leather. Lower dash pieces (all the grey stuff other than glove box).

Normal Beetle 16" wheels - 3 in fair, one with marks - maybe a winter set?

Spare tire, toolkit, rear carpet nice, little cargo cover broken on R pivot but there(free to good home).

I hope to hit it hard tomorrow.

Anyone especially local interested in an ALH that will need redone PM me.

Looks like atleast 2 main bearings spun, the rod bearings I checked were fine - nothing abnormal. Didn't pull cam because I screwed up the valve cover bolt back by the EGR valve so I'll wait until engine is out. It crapped out rather easily with the allen.

17?k I have 2 auto's so IP, injectors, nozzles, all that stuff does me no particular good so it may find it's way to Ebay.

Rods look good and engine not locked up. Don't know about pistons and cylinders. But I could likely sell as a longblock needing redone.

Otherwise in a month I'll likely be selling the head, rods, IP, etc, etc.

I'm still in the body/interior teardown stage to get the carcass out of my garage and to the scrap place.

How much for the 11mm IP? Also, would you be interested in parting with the head rests?

-French

Sorry I'm parting the 5 speed engine which is why the 10mm IP does me no good on my 2 auto TDI's(which require 11mm IP). Or the nozzles, etc.

Head rests will likely go with seats since they are in excellent condition.

Intercooler and hard turbo tube in RF wheel well shipped.

IP spoken for.

Was working on a bunch of little items for a member I'll have to get back to.

Most of interior out.

Radio and trunk/fuel release switched on Ebay with bids.

Engine may be removed this weekend then I'll decide about some parts - like the new looking EGR and already replaced vaccum pump, recently new looking AC compressor, condensor, dryer.

Possibly even injectors. I have 2 auto's so the 5 speed specific stuff I'll be quicker to part with. New looking universal parts that'll for my auto's I'll be looking for more money for or I'll just keep them.

In a month or so I may even have head, connecting rods, etc available.

I'll be parting more this weekend so PM me if interested in anything.

Intercooler sold (but member has an issue - I'm trying to find my other one)

IP and injectors sold.

Some little stuff sold on Ebay(lightsLF window motor,hatch/fuel release,R tail, radio) assuming folks pay!

Nice Bosal downpipe, excellent seats, major suspension components available for those willing to pick up.

Grey console - shift boot seems decent and if I use the 5 speed swap stuff it'll be going into a Golf or Jetta so I can part with it. I have pics - boot is dirty but not worn much. Shifter top worn some on R side I believe but top is nice.

Pics available of whatever you're interested in.

No idea. I'll likely just remove the whole beam late this week then perhaps tear it down.

Sure you want a 14 year old used brake line?

Is the front hood strut any good?
Do you have the trunk light/lens and a bit of the harness with it?
Battery hold down bracket and bolt?
I have all of it, all was good.. I'll have to make sure that trunk light didn't get away from me.

I'll PM you later today or tomorrow.

I have a few boxes of small stuff orders I'm getting together.

I hope to finish the partout this weekend.

Local folks in the market for rad assy, complete head, seats, other bulky or heavy stuff PM me.

I'll try and make sure I've contacted everyone with what they needed by the end of the weekend.

I"ll be keeping a lot pf parts around but have the carcass sold and I'd like him to be able to pick it up early next week.

hatch

Had hoped to finish today but some things are being stubborn - like clutch pedal.

Most ALH parts available, I'll ge tmore serious about it after the carcass is gone.

I owe some folks pics about fuel filter area, getting togethers orders for odds & ends for members.

IP - part of connector is broken. Clean, non leaking 10mm pump.

I owe a fem members some little parts.

I apologize. Going back to take com ecollege classes after 50 and a shot to the head took more effort than I would have thought, and that was with dropping one of the 3 classes.

Anyways the car is parted, this weekend the fella is coming to get the carcass - or I'll hack it into a Cmas display liek I wanted to do with a 73 Beetle I parted a year or so ago.

IP, INjectors, wiring connectors for front end lights, all mirrirs, radio, HVAC panel are all gone off the top of my head.

Still EXCELLENT balck leather heated seats - but no - I won't ship them or sell headrests seperate. Carpet, mats.

Mildly used EGR, I'll start on engine really next week, alternator is stuck in the bracket.

Compelte head? Possible but I won't give it away since I have 2 ALH's - but I take care of them very well so the odds of me needing a head are slim.

VNT15 seems good, AC compressor is new as is condensor.

Anyways as soon as the carcass is gone or hacked up I'll get back to folks abotu the parts they inquired about. Most have been pulled and setting in boxes for a week or two waiting on me to conform what folks want , price and ship.

Sorry for the delay.

OEM headlights available, license plate lights and backup. Most others gone or spoken for.

All dash cover pieces, aribags, complete steering column, Ebrake assy, all 4 black seat belts, etc.

WIper arms, ECU, I picked it rather clean.

Do you still have the headlights? I need a driver's side headlight. Would consider taking both if the price is right. How much, shipped to 22551?

o.k. folks I still have a lot of parts form this partout.

Including all 4 brake calipers, I beleive all the exterior lights, black leather seats, engine parts (IP, head, injectors gone) EGR, vacuum pump look almost new.

Dash plastic, grey console, all interior door panels(black leather interior so door panels Black n Grey leather)

I dropped the rear axle assy and the front subframe/Kframe and the only thing sold off that stuff is the steering rack. So I have struts, shocks, springs, calipers, axle beam, Kframe(when my LCA nut was an issue on my Golf I jsut replaced my Kframe), LCA's.

Fuel lines, coolant lines, AC lines, I picket it clean!

I also have parts left from a 99.5 Jetta partout - black doors, tan leather door cards, AFP engine parts and a matching 5 speed and an auto.

Just starting a 2000 Jetta 2.0 auto partout. SOld hood, bunoer cover, rad support yesterday. Car has a broken timing belt and not that nice of a car so I'm not fixing it.

ALso I bought an 02 Jetta ALH/auto last week. Undetermined if it's fixable or not. Bought it thinking of parting and keeping some stuff incase I need it. But now my long time VW mechanic thinks it may be fixable. Seller thought it has a bent crankshaft.

Any questions ask. I already have a LOT of pics since I Ebay stuff when I have time. Always prefer to sell to a member.
