Hello I am new to this form, and I was hoping someone would help me with an issue I am having with my 2015 VW Jetta TDI 2.0
The check engine light came on at about 120k Miles. plugged The VCDS the error code that it had was "Particular filter Differential pressure sensor P2453 - Implausible signal". Checked the connection at the sensor and they looked good, so I decided to replace the DPF Sensor and The AGR Sensor since both sensors were right next to each other.
drove the car fine with no check engine light on for about 3k miles, Until the check engine light came on again with the same above error code. I did not do any adaptation settings for the newly installed sensor since there weren't any options available in the VCDS I have seen other people adapt their sensor by going into " coding II -11 setting". but in my VCDS it is blanked out. I also did not see any option in the basic setting to do any adaptation.
I went into Advanced measuring value and this is what I'm reading
Description
Particle Filter Soot Mass Calculated 19.98 g
particle filter soot Mass Measured 7.05g
Differential pressure ratio: low EGR 0.0k/h
Particle Filter Differential pressure sensor bank 1 24 hPa
Particle Filter Pressure sensor Bank 1 Offset -7 hPa
These values Were taken when the vehicle was Idling
I can see the Dpf pressure sensor Value go up and down as I'm pressing the accelerator pedal and went the engine is not running just the key in the ignition the value goes from 24 hpa to -1hpa. That being said do u guys think it could be another faulty sensor or the fact that I did not do any adaptation for the sensor even tho there was not an option available for my car or could it be something else??? Please Help Thank you.
