Finally got my 6MT home today and I am going over it with a fine tooth comb. The Dealer, I will now call out, had numerous opportunities to make this car look new as required from VWoA within the warranty memo to sell these cars. Auburn VW (WA) has performed so poorly, that I will certainly be calling VWoA and will send back my comment card with very poor marks.
Now to the paint issues, Since this car is black and you can see everything, I have noticed in the front door jambs the hinge area is off white primer color instead of black? Also at the rear hatch, the upper cavity near the hinges is fogged with black paint, but you can clearly see the base primer coat through the color. Is this normal these days for factories to paint so poorly?

So I got a black car with white hinges? Could some one else that recently picked up a black GSW let me know what they see in these areas?
