As for Sunday brunch - I don't hang out very much in that area of Richmond / New West, so if someone wants to pick a place to meet for brunch, I'll make the map & directions!

Accomodations: There's lots around - depends what you want to do and what the budget is. There is a nice B&B downtown Penny & I used for some guests at our wedding - Victorian Hotel - it's quaint, inexpensive and has secured parking! Parts of Double Jeopardy were filmed there!

Looks like the weather will be fine too!!!

As for numbers, tough call - I'm reserving for about 15 at Steamworks for Saturday - could be more, could be less. I'll confirm on Saturday with them when we know for sure!

Arggg... small change in plans. We are heading to a different restaurant - we are now going to Yaletown Brewing!

The reservation is made (for 20 at 5:30p), it is kid friendly and the food is just as good (and the beer better) than Steamworks!

I will post a new map tonight (and I'll have some printouts for those unable to get it tonight).

Sorry for the late change, but Steamworks was giving me attitude about a reservation.

ugh... something in my engine compartment is making icky noises and i don't feel comfortable driving it further than i have to..
it sounds like something is rubbing or ginding intermittenly

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">it sounds like it is coming from below the air intake(post MAF). as far as i can tell it only happens when the car is idling, but it is audible inside the car.

wow.. i guess something else decided to fail.. my driver's side window regulator failed on me just as i was about to leave the dealer(just to chat with someone i know there. they had no loaner cars so i am carless till tomorrow morning.. blah!!!
