P0725 and p2637 codes

My 2005 tdi golf with 324k miles dies 3 or 4 times a day randomly. Never dies while at speed, always dies when stopped at idle speed. Any help would be appreciated

I checked those codes on the Ross-Tech website and neither one shows up. What are you using to read the codes? You may have to find someone with vcds.

Off hand a crank sensor could cause what you’re describing but if you have an engine light the best place to start is find a scanner that speaks vw.
