P0544 question

So I’m probably beating a dead horse but I’m at a loss. I got a p0544 code which is the g235 egt sensor, immediately after flashing a tunezilla (Malone) “stage 2” delete tune. I replaced the sensor with a brand new one, tested resistance to be sure and all was good but the code didn’t go away. I’m now at a loss as to what could be wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks

forgot to mention tunezilla swears it has nothing to do with their tune so I guess that’s out of the question

Are you certain you are at the correct sensor? I think that is the #1 sensor, which is in the turbocharger itself. Tuner should at least be able to look at a log for you and see what the values are for that sensor.

Yeah I’m certain, g235 sensor in the manifold directly under the turbo, even double checked to make sure there’s no other sensors I’m missing. I’ve been talking with the tuner and they’ve been largely unhelpful.
