P026A Passat 2.0 tdi after oil cooler swap

I just did the typical oil cooler/filter housing swap. Everything went fine but a couple days after I got a p026a. Charged air cooler efficiency below threshold. I didn’t notice any difference driving it. I pulled the sensor off and cleaned it but still having this issue.

Did you run the charge air cooler water pump when you were finished? The CKRA can be difficult to get all the air out of the cooling system.

I have not. What’s the procedure for that?

Go to the Output Test with a suitable scan tool, and run the coolant pump.
