My new '14 JSW did not come with an owners manual just a quick start guide. Was it suppose to come with an owners?

I would say yes. Look in the glove box up high. If it's anything like a Golf glove box there is a slot up high that it could be in. If not get back to the dealership and ask for it. It's in a black folder type case so it's hard to see.

Definitely should have came with one. SHOULD be in a black book with a bunch of other smaller guides with a slot just for them at the top of the glove box. If you don't have them, I definitely second going and getting them! In the meantime, you can look at your owner's manual online at Know Your VW. It WILL ask for your VIN when you click owner's manual. Well, it asked me once, it's not asking me anymore.

I didn't notice the slot in top of the glove box. The owners manual was in the top slot. Thanks.

Your dealer didn't do their job at delivery if they didn't show you the different manuals, which they obviously didn't. They should have gone through the warranty manual, where the service stamps go, etc.
