Here's our '01 Beetle TDI. All cleaned up.

Very nice...I'm most impressed that you still have the silver emergency brake button!

The car had a bunch of issues when we bought it. Bad automatic trans, glow plug circuit problems, sunroof leaks, brake needs, and minor trim/fitment issues.

Swapped in a manual trans and fixed everything else (knock on wood). Now she's on the road and drives great!

where the amazing Black center caps come from?

They are spray painted OEM (silver) center caps. I taped off the VW emblem, sanded them, then primed and satin black paint. They did turn out nice!
