OT: Diagnostic program for some (non VW) engines

OK, so the subject line is on topic. The rest of this post really isn't. But I couldn't figure out where I should put it, and this is the only forum section that I have time to visit with any regularity.

Anway, check this out, a twin-engine TDI-powered AIRPLANE:

For those of you that don't know "knots", let me do some conversions:

Best speed:

201 kts = 231 mph!
231 miles / 11.8 gallons = 19.6 mpg !!

Best economy:

110 kts = 126 mph!
126 miles / 3.0 gallons = 42 mpg !!

Think about it, 42 mpg @ 126 mph !!! What kind of mileage does your TDI get at a steady 125 mph? :)

I'm guessing the engines are derived from an Opel "TDI". Here's more on the engines:
