Go back to the pothole, take picture, document the time/place of the incident and submit to the city. I did so with Missouri DOT and will be reimbursed for costs, just not the time, dealing with all this madness.Damn potholes, I got my front wheel busted the other day. Good Luck.

Sent you a PM.I have 2 CR's that need timing belts soon. Can anyone recommend someone or a shop in the Omaha area that can reliably do this? Usually take to Alex in Sioux Falls, but my children are driving them and live in Omaha. I would like do the belts and water pumps and gift them so I don't have to pay insurance anymore.

Is that Jeff Trumble's shop?Hi everyone! Haven't posted in bit but have made some changes (after the hail storm nearly totaled my 09 sedan. Been busy getting my new stop sale GSW TDI fixed up to my liking and also working on some things in the shop.
So my new car is stop sale GSW S TDI that had 80 miles on it and Baxter Westroads took good care of it and me on the sale. So far I've....
-Tint all the way around 54/20/20 (GP Customs in Lincoln)
- Clear shield front end and rear bumper ledge
- Upgrade ALL interior lights to DeAuto LED's (Lifetime warranty and killer cust. service)
- Upgraded my tail & reverse lights to DeAuto LED (recoded them to utilize the whole light for brake lights)
- Added rear side spoilers
- Swapped my 17in Goals from my Jetta to the wagen
- Swapped full size spare from my Jetta to the wagen
- Swapped big battery from my Jetta to the wagen
- Hauled stuff in my wagen ?
- **Ordered H&R Sport springs and wheels for next spring
I absolutely love the GSW! Its what I was going to buy next (all be it used) after my oldest started to drive but plans changed. Now I get to buy a proper manual for the daughter. Ha ha
Now, shop things... We got some Quick Jacks (holy wowza! talk about revolutionizing our work) to makes lifting cars, no matter the ride height, up down OR just keep up to work on, a breeze!
We also just did a Cam and TB service on a 06 BRM with one of FranksTDI kits. After 200k the cam was pretty trashed, scarred, worn, caps were beat to $hit. We went with Frank's re-profiled BEW cam kit with custom bearing shells and man, it's well worth it. Frank is super responsive when questions came up, install and break-in guidance were very comprehensive and the car is running great now.
Hope you all are good, surely will see you around. ?

Well... if you'd get another TDI maybe we could get more going on....Not much going here, right.
Welcome back to the O TOWN! [emoji41] We have done a cam upgrade and tb change among other things. Shop is in Raymond though. Check out our FB page, there are some shots of the Frank's TDI (highly highly recommend his reprofiled BEW cam kit) grade we did for a customer. We do other things as well if needed and you'll see examples on the page.Just moved back to Omaha after 10 years away. Got an 06 TDI with 169k, got it a year ago and don't know the history of what's been done to it. Any recommendations on shops to get the EGR removed (for off road only of course/already got the plates) and likely cam/timing belt swap?
