Well so far so good, I still plan on coming. Will be there Friday but not sure if I will spend Sat night in PB or not. Going to get the AHU for the Westy dug out this week and get it ready for Frank to take back with him

None now, .
Been having cool days lately, but yesterday it hit low 90's in the afternoon about this time.

Today it's 97 in the drive-way, wow!! On the brighter side it's not very humid, about 70% so I heard on radio few minutes ago.:eek::eek:

Broke a 57 year old record here yesterday at 96 and suppose to do it again today. Humidity has been less than 30% so not so bad.

I am hopeful that we might be able to drop in, on our way to New Orleans.
If anyone has the capability to program a valet key for me, I would appreciate it.

Old Navy: I hope "Newbies" are welcome. I'd like to attend and watch/assist/learn as much as I can. What time does the "party" begin????

Nah just coming from Ava, MO....would love to someday make a Key West FL to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska drive though, only 5,500 miles.

About time you drag back north for a visit. :D

The high went from 93 Friday down to high of 66 Sunday, so it looks like summer finally let go here. :D
It may have a few death rattles, but nothing like this summer, I think we are 6" below normal on rainfall, and it was the tied for the hottest summer on record with an average temperature of 81*F and more than 37 straight days above 90*F (second longest streak)
Like 1993 all the rain went to the north and we had high river waters, but not much rain. (1993 was the longest streak above 90*F with 38) (1952 and 1954 also had the same average temperature, Walt should remember those from his late 30's...)

Well, I am planning on being there! I got the Jetta driveable, but there are still some issues from the motor swap (2.0 to TDI) that I would like someone to help me with or at least to take a look at. I have more smoke than I think I should under heavy acceleration.
See ya'll there!

Check for a boost leak? (my uncle's tdi rubbed through the upper boost tube on the powersteering pully)
but it could be any number of issues or failures.
