Holiday Inn yes, not sure if it's an express though. Lot of folks have used the Super 8 and recommend it for cost, clean and easy in and out of to highway and proximity to Mc D's and the road that comes straight out almost to the house.

I checked these motels phone numbers , and the Bluff Inn finally closed

There is a motel out just before the first Poplar Bluff exit at highway T called Bullwinkles Rustic Lodge I added to the list, it is about 8 miles from the house. I have heard it's a nice place but have no first hand knowlege. It looks like a big log cabin with airplane coming out it or on top of it.

Well I have a lot of points for the Holiday Inn. I've used the Super 8 in the past.

Just picked up a pancake compressor this morning at a friend's pawn shop looks almost new and it came with hose. I will have to get a few attachments, one to air up tires and at least a blow gun nozzle for blowing out cleaned off parts, filters, etc. So we will have air for the GTG if needed for tires or pneumatic tools.

Well I've wanted one for years but would never pony up the $250 to $300 they used to sell for, and even at $200 for me they just were not worth the expense. But at the $50 price I paid, I could not pass the deal up.

Now if the weather and my bad back and arthritis will let get the deck painted before the GTG life will be good.

Well the deck is 25 years old and always been painted with oil base paint, and hasn't been painted in about 7 years now.

But it will most likely be after the GTG before the weather breaks and the humidity starts staying below 80% unless raining. But there is always next spring.

Painting, isn't that where you dress your grand kids in old clothes give give them brushes and set them loose on the porch? (Then pay them $2 and spend 6 weeks cleaning the paint off things that were not supposed to be painted.)

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Not the 16th. I was just sittinghere thinking "hey you know you havent gone to a GTG since 2005 you should see when the fall one is" Then I see the 16th, my son's birthday. Nooooooooooo! Oh well...my TB change might just have to wait a bit longer.

Is anyone keeping a tally on TB changes? I am down for one with Manual Tranny. I have not seen any others yet. I did not read all of the posts though.
We are going to get in Sometime Friday evening, going to take Fraiday afternoon off from the bus duty and get there while I can still see hopefully.

Oh I was just wondering if you had ever completed that bullet trap you were working on in the back yard?

No I haven't kept track either, but I will try to go back through and look again. With two small boys running around, when it get's quite I check the eye lids for light leaks.

Never thought I would look forward to the old folks home, but it's starting to look good every once in a while.

I made hotel reservations the other day and also spoke to Frank about getting some nozzle work done on Liath, so I will be seeing you next month. However, Ian's school trip is throwing me off my usual schedule this year. Rather than getting down to PB on Friday night, I will be arriving Saturday morning, what time I get there will depend on what time I have to drop him off for his trip. Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Ok I made an executive decision. I will be at my second gtg. The boy's birthday party will be later in the evening so I can make it back for that in time. If I can get on the TB list as well that would be great. Dont have any tools or know-how on it but I'll do whatever is asked Guess I better get online and find me some TB kits.
