Is it too late to get on the TB list? We've got an 03 Jetta wagon with 95K miles and growing.
This will be our first ON GTG. We used to attend the MI GTGs regularly before we moved down here. Looking forward to meeting some new (for us) faces!

Glen, are you good with 3 timing belt installs? Do you want me to bring my tools with me? Engine support is too big to haul, but then the B4s don't need them. I'm slow, but OK on them.
A suggestion to the B4 folks. If you haven't upgraded your vibration dampener pulley, consider getting a new one for install with the TB. That way, no squealing noises on cold mornings. Link below. If you need other things, Autohaus does free shipping on orders over $50, so a great opportunity to save a few $$$.

about this GTG..... I understand his attendance is somewhat in doubt
due to time and health constraints. Perhaps Oliver can come and

Weather this am.
Well the weather has finally broke and fall is approaching, no more 95* to 105* days, just waiting for the humidity to break now.
Currently it is 57* with 93% humidity.

Originally, I had planned to have my Timing Belt done prior to the GTG, but now the summer has slipped on to fall, and we're rapidly approaching October.
Any thoughts on the chance for adding another TB change to the list? She's a 2000 Golf, and I'd like to do the water pump. I'm very interested in getting my hands dirty as a part of the process, but I'll want help from somebody who's been there done that.
Bruce, Glen, what do you think? If it's not possible, I'll get it to Brian at Car-Doc.

I would like to see all MAJOR work done by 6 PM (or close there about's) not 2 am again.
The guys could do 4 TB jobs if all parts are present for the jobs, and no problems pop up. They could do two at a time if one car is backed in, so as the guys don't bump elbo's. So I will eave it up to Bruce and Glen to make the final decision.
