Anyone needing a nice Dell PC?

I have one for sale or trade. It is ready to go with 17" monitor, 512 Meg RAM, 60 gig HD, Windows XP Pro, MS Office Pro, lost of other software and 10 gig's of music. It will be in the garage for easy demo and will be used for music, unless MOGolf says it is in his way.

i can't get the ECU out of the golf :( so i'm going to drive the golf down instead of my jetta with the .658 - oh well. will anyone have ramps there? aside from getting chipped i would like to try and get the tdiheater, pd134 oil cooler, skid plate and oil change done - not sure if i can do it all in one day but would like to try... does anyone need anything from my boring parts FS list? http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=136256

yah, i need to work on it . i'm worried that when i get back up to MN things will get put off and pretty soon it's going to be real cold. we'll see :) i at least would like to get the panzer on, which i think i can do myself, but a helping hand to hold a wrench would be nice. i just don't want to put off the frostheater/oil cooler any longer, plus i would like to do it all at once - that would save time :) i'll be in the black golf from MN, hopefully arriving <10am (staying with a friend in STL friday night)

Well it only got down to 37* here last night, and the forcast is for mid to upper 60's today. My guess is 68 to 70* today. :D
National Weather Service said:
Record cool high temperature for October 12 recorded at Paducah.

The high temperature at Paducah on October 12 was 52 degrees at 3:44 P.M. This broke the record for the lowest high temperature for the date, which was 55 degrees in 1959. The high was 21 degrees below the normal high of 73.
The unusually cold air will not last very long, as southerly winds develop over the weekend. The warmer and more humid air will eventually lead to the chance of showers and thunderstorms next week. This activity will be associated with a potentially significant storm system moving northeastward from the southern Plains.

BioD in Missouri?

so what's the story with BioD in the area? i'll be coming down from Omaha, thru KC then over to St Louis to drop people off, then straight down 67. i can make it all the way down no problem, and probably even back up to St Louis on saturday night. but i'll need to fill sometime before i start back for Omaha. i'd like B20 since it's been getting down to 30 degrees in omaha at night lately, but will take B100 b/c most of it will be used up before i get home anyway. i don't currently use any homebrew since i can't afford a new IP.

thanks

Grrr, I despise that map. It's frustrating when you do not know where all the cities in MO (or any other state) are, and only get directed to a page text listing all the locations. One ends up having to click EVERY city to find out what is on one's path. Not friendly at all. Sorry I don't have a better solution... I just needed to vent.

On a brighter note, Paramedick and I should be heading out this afternoon, with a trunkload of tools attempting to rival MOGolf. ;) Where I will stop for fuel, who knows...

burpod, I would be more than happy to wrench with you. I love being in the middle of stuff, but I think I would be in mogolf's way. someone else wanted a door panel pulled off, i could do that as well.

yah, i checked every link on that site, and no one in the area sells any better than B2. so i think i'll just bring my "emergency 5gal" of B100 and mix with D2 myself.

OldNavy, who's your fuel supplier in town?
I don't buy in town, I buy it at Dexter MO, about 25 miles east of here on highway 60.

Does anyone need the following-
OEM Alumimum Skid plate? (with hardware, Diesel geek sold these a few years ago) $150, new never installed, with some hardware, but not all I suspect.
Woofie2--we're going to skip out on the skid plate since we aren't sure about the hardware status. If we got it we'd want to put it on this weekend, and it sounds like that's not an option.

That's ok, it will be in the car,
I know it is missing at least two bolts, for the rear, and possibly the front mounting posts (depending on which howto you use)

Going to be loading up the car in about an hour for a stay at the Pear Tree Inn tonight. Cardinals Baseball, a hotel room, and a day with diesel heads. Sounds like a right nice vacation.

I'll grab a couple dozen KK's just before I hit the Highway.

Walt, I'm planning on being over about 6:30 tomorrow. I may swing by tonight just to see if you've got company, I don't know. I'm planning on taking the senic route down 67. I've seen that stretch of 55 more times than I can count.
