SInce Jeff is in Question, I have a question about Jeff. I have a 2006 which he did a stage 1 on, what will it take besides cash to do a stage two and is it worth it. As I already know I need to replace the clutch for the more advanced (non sachs), but what else?

Anyone attending have the Mcnally boost/EGT duel gauge? I would like to check it out before I buy.

I have it since early summer with pillar pod. It is working well. You can take a look for sure. With your bigger turbo i think you also need the pressure transducer where the stock turbo can use the exisiting MAP sensor wire. In my case the thermocouple is going into the old EGR output. I definitely plan to make it if Jeff is coming, since it is a bit of a hike for me.

Thanks for the offer eddie 1. I hope Jeff can make it too. If so, I look foward to meeting you. I was at this GTG last year and had a blast, and got chipped:D .

Is this going to be a "working" GTG? If so, I might be interested in doing my rear brakes. This also assumes that someone will have the rear caliper retractor tool.

It's like a BBQ/tailgating/Potluck style GTG with some wrenching.

What facilities are available at the site? Would there be indoor space for work should the weather turn bad? Given this is a three hour drive each way for me I would want to be sure I will be getting the work done!

Does anyone have a power bleeder available? I am also overdue for a brake fluid change, so assuming I get the brakes done with time left I would also like to change the fluid.

I'll be there

I have a Mighty Vac, and a Power Bleeder. I'll bring both. I'll bring tools too. I also will bring some fresh venison to throw on the grill for my fellow carnivores.

I am looking for some help to install my TDIHeater, and a Vegtherm.

Looking forward to it.

I just ordered my rotors and pads for the rear brake job. I have the fluid for the change. The other urgent work I have is a need to fix the front mark light on the passenger's side, anyone done this before? This is only urgent as I got issued an equipment repair order and need to have it done in a few weeks for some cop to signoff on.

Regarding food, I could bring a pot of Maryland crab soup if there is a way to keep it warm, bowls to serve it in and spoons to eat it with. Alternatively I could whip up a batch of German potato salad, which would go well with any brats brought for grilling.
