Oil pouring from EGR Valve

Hey guys, I was hoping that you all could help me decide the best course of action for me to take. My 2004 BEW seems like it has a lot of oil leaking out of the gasket to the EGR valve. It is dirty-ing up the intake manifold. It seems like its a lot, though! I cleaned it, and I saw some oil seeping through. so I cleaned off the oil and replaced that outer o-ring. Now, only a few hundred miles later, there is oil all over the place. I know that i probably damaged my EGR trying to clean it, but the amount of oil that is coming out is what scares me. My car was dangerously low on oil the other day, and I am afraid that too much oil is getting into my intake system from the turbo. I also noticed some oil around the CCV Valve and the hose that comes off it, so could it be an issue with crankcase pressure?

So, what would be the smartest way to try to solve this problem? Its cold, and I don't have too much money to waste on swapping parts. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think that VAGCOM might help?

Would pictures help?

Yes, pics please.

Also, attaching the egr takes surprisingly little torque to seat. Often over torqued and squishing the o-ring too much. Mine leaks too but it doesn't bother me.

Just how much oil is leaking?

I wish I could give you a good answer to that question. I didn't know about over torquing the valve! But I will post some pictures. Thanks for the reply!

Hi m8 although my engine is different to yours I found after cleaning my EGR valve it started to leak quite a bit of oil, see picture below (EGR is top left)
