Oil Leaks 3.0 TDI Q5 or Q7 ?

Has anyone had oil leaks on their Q5 TDI or Q7 TDI engines from rear main seal or other locations on TDI 3.0 ?
I read in another forum some Q7 TDI's 3.0 have had some oil leaks at rear main seal.
Does anyone know if the TDI 3.0 in the Q5 TDI is a different version in the Q7 TDI in the 2013 -2015 model years?
No leaks yet in my Q5 TDI 2015 at 145,000 kms.

If it leaks, it is covered under the extended warranty. I own 2 Q5's with TDI's. Mine has 93K and my wife's has 62k. Both are 2015's and are the best cars I have ever owned.

You mentioned 93k, is this is 93,000 miles?
I'm also looking for insight on preventive maintenance: have you replaced water pump, belt tensioner, idle pulleys, belt, etc yet on either Q5 ? Any other prevent maintenance?
Any other issues that came up so far?
I have had transmission and filter changed along with front and rear differential oil and transfer case fluid.
No leaks or other issues so far.
Using Top Tech 4200 5w 30 synthetic oil to 507 spec, changing at 8000 - 9000 miles.

It is 93k miles. My wife's had a def problem that the dealership fixed. As far as preventative maintenance, I have done all of the services to get them up to date. My car (93k) is due the trans service which I will do after the holidays. My son has a shop and works on VW's and Audi's. I told him I wouldn't buy them unless he would fix them if they broke. My wife's car came from Asheville NC and there was a lot of stuff I had to do to it to get back where it needed to be. Mine came from Daytona Beach Florida from a BMW dealership where they did all the services.

Good day. I noticed you are here in NC & you mentioned your son has a VW/Audi shop and wondered if you could help me. I am trying to find an independent TDI shop that can change timing chain cover gasket and rear main seal due to oil leaks. Do you know of a good Audi/VW TDI mechanic that would be qualified for this task?
