Oil leak

A few weeks ago I hit a deer on the way home and caused some front end damage. I had to replace the both headlights (bought from IDparts) and replace and repair mounting brackets. Got everything fixed and running and looking great. I noticed a oil leak which it looks like its coming from the oil filter housing assy. The leak was before the accident, but seems to be getting slightly worse.
My question is:
Replace the filter housing assy and associated gaskets or just replace all the gaskets?

Try to narrow it down ... Try cleaning ,wiping down the engine area down with Spray 9 ( degreaser ) and shop wipes. Is the filter gasket - O ring-in the correct groove of the housing ? Or is something actually cracked ...? Hopefully something simple that you will see once its cleaner...

It’s probably the O-rings on the oil cooler, if they get slightly disturbed, they start to leak.

It appears to be coming from just above the oil cooler. I didn't see any oil around where the assy is mounted to the engine. I just recently changed the oil and filter and I'm 100% sure the O-ring for the filter housing cap is in the correct position.

Pebjr is referring to the O-ring that mounts the oil filter housing to the block not the O-ring in the oil filter cap.

Everything you’re describing sounds like the oil cooler O-rings you can get them at several different online vendors including rock auto ID parts…
